THE BAND

Pack of Wolves tends to defy categorization; A Strange Sort of Folk seems appropriate. Assorted original tunes penned by lead singer Steve Wolf and other gifted locals are mixed with covers by The Byrds, The Beatles and The Band, amongst others.

Tending toward a dark beauty, the melodies are sweeping and often grand.

The harmonies are a lush and complex soundscape behind which driving bass and intense rhythms provide a solid foundation.

Over two decades, POW has evolved from folk-duos, to country, to rock, to punk, and now a semi-acoustic quartet. The band plays in intimate venues around Fairfax, California.

The musicians come from varied backgrounds including folk, country, blues and punk. Each has classical training and decades of onstage and recording experience.

Current band members:
Steve Wolf vocals & guitar
Teja Bell vocals & guitar
Tim Bush bass
Wendy Fitz vocals & keyboard

Former band members:
Ken Greene vocals & keyboard
Nickel Langavin bass
Travis Prowell vocals & guitar
Erik Schramm vocals & guitar
Jack Springette drums
